I now have 245/70/17 tires and rim combo and was going to upgade to a 35x12.50x17 with a stock steel 17inch dodge rim. I don't know the back spacing or anything about these rims but was wondering if I could just keep my rims for the 35's or if I needed a wider rim or oke with more back spacing. I don't know the specs on my rim or how to get them

Dont quote me here cause Im not sure of the backspacing for stock wheels on your year model...but I think its around 5". You may have to get new wheels unless you ran spacers

you can run the 35's on those, but you need to do a lift. From what i remember just a level won't be enough with a 4x2

You should really get new wheels
They don't recommend putting that wide of a tire on a stock width wheel and you will need a wheel spacer to avoid rubbing

on a 02-05 3rd gen you don't need wheel spacers to run 12.5 wide wheels

I'm not worried about the lift part I have 9 inches in the front and 5 in the back. Just trying to save money for now buy not having to buy rims. So I can use the rims I have now without any wheel spacers?

hmmmm i think some 20's will look good on there instead of 17's...

and if you lift it up about 2 inches, you should be fine to run 35's

98% chance you'll rub on the spindle with 35s on stock wheels
you'll need a wheel spacer but since 2wds arent to common idk how much you'll need
