Seat foam cushion swap

My 2003 quad cab has the driver seat cushion worn on the ouside. I know new cushions are available but has anyone tried swapping out the driver side seat foam for the passenger side foam?? Is that even a possibility?? Are the two sides interchangeable?? Just trying to save $100.00.

I swapped the pass & drivers seat, frame to frame.

my drivers seat was so bad that I could touch the metal of the seat frame.
the cushions don't swap.

This is something I would be interested in doing (ordering new pads). How difficult is the swap Heavy D?

the biggest problem is the electrical - mostly seat belt warning - only on drivers side on mine. Don't know if yours is power or not. - mine - not.

other than that - for me there are 4 nut holding the seat to the frame.
& 4 bolts holding the mech to the floor.
Just remember - for me the seat back tilt is facing in since I switched the seats.

Did you search for the "how to" for the repair on the seat? I've seen it on this forum as well as others. A Google search for "Dodge Ram seat repair" will give a few results.
