Shock extenders??

I may be stupid but with the leveling kit it comes with shock extenders. Do they normally come with them? Is this something new as of late? I have a 1500 qc Express 4x2 with the 5.7.

They have been for some time now. Not all kits come with them. If you arent getting longer shocks it is recommended to use them to keep you travel up and down equal to how it was stock
