should i sell my 1997 for 2002

so i have the option to sale my 97 ram 2500 and get a 2002 ram 1500 4x4 crew cab. my 1997 currently has.
*170,000 miles
*New wires, spark plugs, distributor and cap.
*brand new pro comp extreme a/t 35x12.5xr16
*brand new xd series rims 16x9x8.165
*valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, getting a new oil pump put in tomorrow.
* new front wheel hub assembly
*energy suspension front sway bar brackets
*0-6" adjustable heavy duty sway bar endlinks
*brand new 2" lift shocks
*flow master super 40 exhaust
*new pinion seal in the rear
* leather seats, power seats and power windows and locks
*kicker 10inch sub and amp already wired up
*second set of used rims and tires that go with it

*truck was repainted black

I would never trade down from a 2500 even if that 1500 is in perfect shape.
And all opinions aside value wise that is not a good deal on your end

No. Did you see your list of all the **** youve done to your 97. And then did you compare it to the 02? If it was like an 06 cummins then yeah go for it but your essentially getting a newer truck with less power.

alright alright i wont sell it. instead im decided to re build the motor and get a programmer so i can drive it to college and not kill me in gas. i did find out that my fuel pump will not come on at all (probably will replace it) and i replaced the oil pump today with a high volume one
