Really idiotic question: why no towing in O/D?
Even when towing on flat highway/freeway for many miles?
Its a lot harder on the trans. O/D adjusts the shift points for higher rpms while towing. Having it lug in the higher gear will cause the fluid to overheat and can cause damage to the trans. Yes even on freeway. Just don't do it. Anyone else care to chime in and explain it better?
