Very nice trick with the zip ties. I'm sitting here staring at it but I still can't figure out exactly what you did...

haha i lay them all flat then wrapped a large zip-tie around them loosely. In between a set of RCA's I used a smaller zip tie and wrapped it around the large one. I then tightened the large one first then the 2 smaller ones. This keeps the cables flat and in order. I did this to help with running the wires and keeping it from rolling up under the carpet.

I did get a few cuts from them when running under the carpet. Damn edges are sharp.

That makes sense. Yeah, I remember having to keep going back and forth trying to figure which set of RCA's went to what. I'll have to make use of this for the truck

Did you mention if you were going to deaden and seal the doors?

That is the same box that I've ordered except I'm hoping with a 10" subwoofer. Glad to see that the quality and figment is spot on. :)

Finished the install this weekend and got it playing. I still need to get it tuned but I think it looks great

Looks real good, how does it sound? Any concern with the crossover in the door?

Thanks man, it sounds great and I'll get it tuned after a few days of use. I have no concerns with them there.

Thanks man, I have a question on the front crossover. Currently I have them set at 0. Should I leave them there or go to +3 or -3? I ask as i'm getting it tuned but need to put some painted parts of the door back on and don't want to take them off again and risk scratching them before the show.

If you have enough eq to tame highs down I'd put it at 0 or +3 as it is always easier to drop eq then gain it up.
