Steering Column Opening Cover

Have a 2012 Ram 1500. I cut a hole in the Steering Column Opening Cover, under the steering wheel to install a Rocker switch and I cut the hole in the wrong spot. I'm having issues finding a replacement. Will a 2013 Steering Column Opening Cover work? This is the 2013 version. Mine doesn't have the vent or the gray color around the ignition.

It will fit; EXCEPT around the ignition key; since the 2013 went to push button start (grey ring as you describe).
