I'm new to the forum. I just put the GF 2/3 kit on my rcsb and I absolutely love it. I'm sure it will settle a little more over the next month or so.

Looks good man. How much front drop did you get?

I only got about half an inch maybe 3/4 so I'm hoping it will settle and drop down a closer to 2" over time

Thanks man, I had to wait a month after I bought the kit before it was shipped. I was bummed about the wait, but it turned out awesome so i cant complain at all

I am looking into 20x10 -12 or -24 with 305/55/20 all terrains for winter. Not sure if I'll be able to pull it off with a 2/4

Guy up near me has a 2/4 on his 2wd rcsb and just barely rubs his 305/50/20 on 20x12 rims

Finally installed the GF 2/3 drop I bought off Matt from Moes months ago.

Key things about the install:
- Buy a stubby 13/16" for the rear upper shock bolts, I used this one and it was perfect https://www.amazon.com/Sunex-993026...8&qid=1498492940&sr=8-1&keywords=stubby+13/16
- you should also have a regular 13/16 wrench, short and deep 13/16" sockets.
- Take the front calipers off, I found it was easier to push the lower a-arm down to get the stuts out with out stressing the brake lines.

The ride, well, it is a bit firmer than I was hoping, its not harsh per-say, just tighter and you feel more. On some bumps it feels quite stiff, but the handling is drastically improved! Body roll is allot less and there is less side to side sway.

Before pic - Before%20the%20drop_zpsec76fo18.jpg

After pic, about 10 miles on it, not aligned yet:
After%20the%2023%20drop_zpsx4kpzfa5.jpg

Before -- 5,803 miles, 5/8 full fuel
DF = 36 3/4" ----- PF = 36 1/2"
DR = 38 1/4" ----- PR = 39 1/2"

After (not aligned yet) -- 5,830 miles, 5/8 full fuel
DF = 34 3/4" ----- PF = 34 1/2"
DR = 35 1/2" ----- PR = 35 1/2"

Based on this I got the full 2/3 drop (well 4" on the pass side rear lol).

Looks fantastic!!! :favorites13:

I would love to do the GF 2/3 drop, but living in the Northeast and this being my daily driver, I need the clearance for winter time. I'm pretty sure I am just going to do the rear 2" drop kit from GF. (drop springs and coilovers.)

I am in NY, I am a little worried about winter, but it still higher than a car, and about the same as a SUV now.

On a side note I hit some turns last night, WOW, if you are looking for a drastic handling upgrade this is it! I was amazed at how composed and flat the truck was taking turns a good bit faster than I would have before.

Oh and brake feedback is also increased, no more nose dive!

Yes, both of us are running the stock sport alloy wheels/tires.

Stock wheels & tires yes. I would love to trade them or sell them for a set of stock R/T wheels, but everyone near me wants $3k for the wheels alone.. Which BTW is the same price the dealer will sell them NEW to me for with sensors (no tires) ....

Yeah,.......the only thing holding me back is the crappy winters. Looks killer lowered and handling should/would improve as you stated. I have to think it over.
(Man, I can't wait to retire and move south.)
Enjoy. :favorites13:
