I’ve briefly looked at the idea of using pto to drive a under deck mounted 10kw Xcite generator for boondocking our camper but it’s cost prohibitive. Estimated around 5-6k. It would be sweet just to hit a truck stop and have the camper cooled and hot water ready but for the price, it’s not gonna happen. Back to the drawing board....

Ability to disable tailgate locking in the menu. In bed switch for the bed lighting, which I think is now available on the new trucks. Either paddle shift or shift up/down button in a spot that doesn't require dislocating your thumb to reach. Heating element in the windshield for the wipers in the winter. Enough power to match or beat ecoboost drag times.

An inverter would be horribly inefficient for generator purposes. Can you imagine the size of your car's electrical /charging system? And the wires you would need.

2021 F-150 has one now: 2kW, 2.4kW and 7.2kW. 2kW just runs the engine and is quite a lot if you think about it, and the other two are hybrid only. With the hybrid you could power your whole damn house in a hurricane power outage.

I’m happy with my truck. My ole ‘17 treats me well. But after someone posted about the on-board generator the new F150s can come with I watched a video and man they really packed this thing with some nice features. Looks like the put some actual thought into their redesign and it’s a sharp looking truck. Gonna be a hard sell to get people into new Rams and Chevys who have the $$ to buy any of the major truck brands.

Standard basic radio or any of the high end systems with an in dash cd/mp3 player.
Standard backup camera across all trim levels.
It would be nice to have a standard 6' bed with a crew or quad cab across all trim levels.
There are others I know that have mentioned some of the above and there is more to be added by everyone else
