Synthetic oil vs regular oil

Is it better to use synthetic type oil or stay with regular oil in truck while towing 5400 lb RV Camper?
What are your thoughts, ideas or knowledge please? I have a 2021 RAM V8.

I assume you have a 6.4L not a Hemi 6.1? Or a 5.7. If it is a 6.4 0W40 is recommended. Always check your owners manual. 100% synthetic for sure regardless.

Most of us use penzoil ultra platinum or amsoil. Then you have the guys running redline oil. Redline is great stuff in the hemi engine but is a bit more expensive if you can stomach the cost
