And in case it's rings the 5w30 will help, maybe even go 0w40 in super class oils = any 0w40 under 13 cSt with the mercedes and porsche spec. Those are made to be 30 weights but full of good stuff. It will absolutely slow burning over a 20 weight. Also, so would low noack oils, you may have heard of one around here redline 5w30 talked about once or twice. But seriously, any low noack oil will help find one under 8. I'd try PUP 5w30 first, there is some risk to starting redline in a vehicle 125k, maybe not my first choice.

Yea im a RL 5w30 guy myself. Just trying to get her car to next summer and then we will be upsizing to something a little more family and 3rd row... thanks for all the advice.

Your Ram has standard bolts on it? I don’t think I’ve found a fastener on my truck that wasn’t metric...

I agree, the metric system makes so much more sense...

The spark plugs, lug nuts and all the Philips and flat heads [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23].

Thats more than my ranger ever had.

It was “Fitz” that is running about 3/4 quart over full, correct?

We need a update on whether you saw bubbles or foam on your dipstick.

****! Going from US system in everyday life to metric while flying/working, metric is way easier. Want to know what kinda measurements we used to get a man on the moon? Metric.....

Canada began switching to Metric in 1971 and slowly converting everything all through the 70's.

I still prefer my engine and trans related temps in F but use Metric in pretty much everything else.

Metric is a pain in the ass when the country next door and our largest trading partner doesn't use it.

We use both here as a result so I find myself constantly converting everything back and forth.

only two types of countries, one that landed a man on the moon and those that use the metric system.

As funny as that is we all know we could still have landed a man on the moon first even using the metric system[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

It was more of a joke. Been using part of the metric system in the hospital for 40 years now.

A lot of my ranger and my wifes explorer stuff was metric. My current truck has more standard stuff that I expected.

Honestly i just wish i didn’t have to buy 2 sets of tools with a lot of stuff[emoji35]. Id be fine with the US being all metric. We ARE the odd man out in this situation.

I just wished I was more organized, apparently I am missing many sizes eventhough I have like 20 of them laying around. Hardest ones to keep track are the finger wrenches, gotta get one of those sets on a caribinger like I have for the allen wrenches, this way I can either loose them all or none of them.
