Hey guys. I figure I could ask this here. I tried doing quite a bit of research on this but I’m getting many mixed answers.

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 4.7. My questions Is pertaining to synthetic oil. I’ve had the truck for only about 6 months and wanna run synthetic. Is it ok to if it’s only ever had conventional oil? Or do I just stick with conventional ? Or do an engine flush before switching over ?

It looks like the new forum software uses an HTML or XML version and Tapatalk does not. I'm sure there will be an update for that and many other little inconsistencies on Tapatalk soon.

You can switch any time. It's up to you, but I would do a flush as well.

I have always viewed the forum on my phone just like I would on a computer.
Had the option to veiw the mobile site but never used it as I did not like it.
