Straight up solid oak from what I’ve been hearing. So an electric truck with an aluminum body?
South Texas? I’d skip the 5w20 and go with a 5w30. And if your going with an off the shelf oil from the local parts store I’d recommend Quaker State Ultimate Durability (QSUD) Full Synthetic as a good option. I’ve seen some impressive testing on that full synthetic product line.
Could always have it shipped to store or homeDoes anyone know why it seems QSUD is hard to find? I was buying it off WalMart's website for $19.99 a jug but a month ago they didn't have it anymore. I finally got 2 jugs from Advance Auto, but paid $33 a piece. Maybe WalMart caught on to the steal??
Not sure if this has been said or not but I was worried if anything were to happen and my oil receipts stated I was using Redline 5W-20 that I'd potentially be voiding warranty.
Well Redline 5W-20 meets API & Mopar MS-6395 the manual suggests. Although Redline isn't one of the few oils they mentioned in the manual, it does meet those specific specifications outlined.
So if you're worried about warranty at all, just stick to Redline 5W-20 and you won't have to worry.
5W-30 does not meet MS-6395. So that's where potential issues could occur if at any point your oil was questioned.
Couple weeks will be my second run of Redline 5W-20 since purchase and she seems to really enjoy it.
Careful... The data sheet says "suitable replacement for".Not sure if this has been said or not but I was worried if anything were to happen and my oil receipts stated I was using Redline 5W-20 that I'd potentially be voiding warranty.
