Thank you. I wasnt trying to say it like i didnt believe you but i did want to see the ink on paper. However this is now totally irrefutable for anyone who posts from here on out. Like i said in SouthTexans thread, i plan on using 89 from here on out. I just filled up but im really anxious to see if there are any benefits over time or at least quiets it down a bit

Sent an email to air aid about a cai for the 6.4 and this was their there response. Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately at this time we do not have plans to produce one. I will log this as a new product request and pass it along to engineering for review.*

Today I did a little experiment on unloaded ride quality. I wanted to see how my 2500 would ride empty with front and rear sway bars both disconnected. (No matter what I say Its NOT safe to get on the freeway with swaybar(s) disconnected). Anyway, I drove on a dirt road. It rides amazingly smooth!! It was like WOW!!..The interesting thing is that I didnt feel any crazy scary bodyroll like I was expecting. I think that is because the springs themselves are stiff enough to limit bodyroll without the need of swaybars (but for a fully loaded truck thats a different story). So, I conclude that if u drive your truck empty on long bumpy dirt roads often like me, disconnecting your swaybars will help with ride comfort greatly.

Does anyone know if you can swap the 6.4 hemi out for a Cummins in a 2015 ram 2500hd 6.4 hemi. And if so what all would be involved? I just recently bought this truck, I love the power and towing on it but the mpg suck

Have you priced a hemi vs cummins. I gave 34k for mine. At the time cummins at the same lot were 52k. That's almost 20k. That's why I didn't buy one

Yessir we all have been over this, not only ourselves but with other members on the forum. The initial price difference is 9k from the factory with the 68rfe. To even buy a 6.7 cummins to do a swap WITHOUT a tranny would cost over 12k. Thats also not including labor and such.
It would be different if you didnt have a brand new 2015. Thats a fucktardedly large waste of money.

When i was truck shopping, i found several trucks with cummins motors that were the same price as mine but with less bells and whistles. You obviously did not shop around enough.

There were obviously trim level differences there too. I paid 37k for mine with the 6.4 and a truck identical to mine with the chrome wheels and bumpers with the Cummins was 43k. If you wanted a cummins you would have tried harder to get a cummins.

I work on the road. I have a 45ft fit wheel camper I pull that ways about 17k. Truck pulls it like a dream except for the fact I get anywhere from 6-8mpg. That's why I was curious in doing a swap with a cummins. Someone told me I could do one for about 10k, but decided to come here and ask opinions

Why on earth would you buy a truck rated to tow 15k knowing you will he pulling 17k? I'm thinking $10000 will buy a lot of gas, even though it will be much more.

I think you be better off just trading the truck you have in on a new one or the same year but with a Diesel. (I will probably get flamed for that statement)
Good Luck on what ever you do.

Better offer trading it in and taking the loss that will probably be less than the cost of a swap. Plus once you swap your warranty will be gone.
