I hope you continue to do well and have a full recovery. I am glad to see that nobody was killed. Now for the fun part, tell your wife that the 2018 Ram 1500 is a luxury vehicle and that truck probably kept you from more serious injury. I hope 2018 treat you and your family well and a full and speedy recovery.

Well this is what I will be driving while my wife shops for her new car. When she decides, I’ll trade in or sell outright my Legacy. It’s a 2018 Honda Accord 2.0t Touring Edition. Makes it a turbocharged 4cyl like my Legacy minus the awd factor. 94a2d172c8f9023129babcae6a92ca79.jpg95193ad38abb1e0f982dd448d8b03361.jpg

Haven’t really been paying attention to Honda’s lately. I like the redesign on the Accord. Not bad at all.

Why ya thinking of selling the Leggy, not worth sinking mods into with the performance of the current Accords being so nice?

I’ve owned the Legacy since 2009. Since then I’ve had at least 10 exhaust systems and not to mention at least 15 car audio installs in it. It has 112,000 miles on it and truthfully I’m tired of having a stick. Now if that car were an automatic, I would readily keep it and just give her the money for her new car.

I totally understand! My wife got a new chevy equinox last year and her old dd we had since new and I've maintained since new, 2008 ford focus is a 5 speed because that's what she wanted, she also had to have the light ice color which i hate. Lol.

The focus became my spare and at nearly 158k it still runs excellent. However, i live 10 miles from work and a lot of that is back roads and stopped traffic, and at my age I'm just tired of driving the 5 speed. I'm constantly up and down though the gears, clutch in, out constantly, etc.

So I'm selling the focus to my niece and i picked up an 05 ford escape awd. It needs some work, but the body is solid, minimal rust so i can work with it.

I like ford and dodge so I'm happy.

No more stupid light ice, no more 5 speed. Lol. When i was in my 20s i loved my 5 speed mustangs, and in a performance car not driven much it's still cool, but for me, personally with the traffic in my area, I'm just done with rowing my own. Lol

Hope you find something you really like when you replace the sub.

Are you feeling any better these days?

^^^. I totally agree about rowing through those gears lol. Sadly this is a 6 speed and that to me makes it worse. I take my one daughter to several events that she is involved in, and that gets annoying ( driving & shifting ) real quick.

I have to go back to the doctors on Monday as now I build up of fluid in that replacement knee area. So we shall see what news he holds for me. I’m sure no matter what, that I will get through this. :)

Congrats on the new car, it’s always nice getting a new ride. Good luck at the doctors appointment Monday.

^^^. Thank you and to be honest, I would rather still be rocking my 192,000 mile Ram. :(

Glad you're ok. Echoing others here, but this looks like what my wife would call a shopportunity. Good luck!

Lol, nice! And yes, agreed. When your constantly in stop and go traffic it gets highly annoying. Yeah you get used to it, but if I have the option, unless I have no choice or take on another muscle car or old corvette project, it's all slushboxes for me from here on out. Lol.

Since you haven't bumped this thread and seeing what I saw in the other thread, I know I can get away with this bit.

Well I still have the Legacy and since I also have my Accord I still have plenty of time to acquire another truck. It’s a matter if sticking with the exact dollar amount of the truck that I want to pay.

I did something similar. Sold my Fiat 500 Abarth and bought a new Ram 2500 CC 8' bed. Whole different driving style!
