Tow hitch bolt cover

Guys I lost my first cap for my tow hitch. Any of you guys have a better idea for replacement than buying a new factory cover?. Its a curt tow hitch.

I put a new bumper on, and the new one will not stay on. The bolt is raised to much for it to snap down. Tried to tighten the bolt but it will not go any further.

Hey guys and gals,

Im new to the forum but I saw searching for the same item as everyone else and I found an OEM cap that works, #55077311AB.
I got one locally for about $12 CAD and it fit perfectly.

I was running a cap, problem is the receiver fills up with dirt and mud that comes in from the front facing open part of the hitch. With the cover on you don't notice so it doesn't get washed out at the wand wash. Went to put my hitch on the other day and had to spend 45 minutes chipping the stuff out of the channel becasue I was no where near a wash bay. That is the last time I run a hitch cover. Will either leave the hitch in permanently like I do with my 1996 2500 or run the receiver not covered.
