I got a 89 d150 with war looks to be a a904 and I can't figure out why it won't go in to overdrive it just quit one day and it is throwing a wrench in my wallet where are the wires to the overdrive and it looks like it has a longer extension tube than befor I can't find any Id marks or anything

I need to replace my oil pump and seals and don't know weather to buy parts for a a500 or 904

if the truck has overdrive it is likely a a500. a 904 is only a 3 speed and no overdrive.
