Ive searched a bunch and i cant seem to come up with many options. i have a 2010 trx-4 and i want to get 35's under it. I like the stock 17's. what i was planning on doing is a 2.5" leveling and then doing a 1.25" body lift but the ones im finding say dont use with TRX-4 model rigs?

Anyone have some suggestions?

You can't put a leveling kit on top of a leveling kit.

The trx model uses a different shock then any other 1500 that raises the front end .75" already
This is the reason why spacers advise not useing a spacer on trx model because the geometry of the suspension may result in 2.5+" with a 2.5" spacer and cause you to have driveline vibration in 4wd
I agree with Matt, go with the bilstien 5100 adjustable shocks
Or any adjustable shock for that matter

If you want to go higher in the long run after leveling, you'll need to do a lift kit and/or a body lift

Unless your going to spend BIG money on a lift kit that replaces the coil overs down the road you will have a lift kit that uses a strut spacer along with the stock shocks or in this case the bilstiens.

A strut spacer drops the mounting point for the top of the strut, giving the strut a longer length but not really adding any suspension travel.

It is not recommended by almost all manufacturers to use a coil spring spacer with a lift kit

If you are debating on going bigger, then do the complete lift from the start. You could always throw a body lift on there with the front Bilsteins, but if you want a complete suspension lift, then I would go that route from the start.

I dont think i will ever go huge, 35's or 36's would most likely be my max, and the wife would never approve of going super huge.

So i can put a body lift on after going bilsteins, if this is true that would probably cover me for lift wise.

Would i use those shocks on the rear of the truck also?

You can't lift the rear with adjustable as it uses a coil suspension similar to TJ/JK

Bilstiens with a 1.25" body lift will fit 35's no problems with the right wheel
They will fit with adjustable shocks and the right size wheel

Some people use a .75" to 1.5" spacer in the rear also

so if 35's are no problem with the bilsteins and body lift then should i go with a bigger tire?

Am i right to assume the stock wheel will hold me back with getting 35's
