the only advantage of the v6 fan is you remove the stock clutch fan. Unless your truck has significant performance modifications its a fairly pointless swap.
I went with the Mopar V6 fan - worked fine -but vibrated the whole truck. Would rattle the spare change in the cup holder. I didn't notice any improvement, but I'm getting old. I took it off and put it back to stock. I have the V6 fan in the garage - probably 2 months old. $25 and come get it.
The Mopar fans run smoother and quieter than TYC, and are more durable as well. Only benefit to TYC is that they only cost about $100 where the OEM Mopar fan runs about $350.
