Ugh Ram down but will be back

so I been doing some stuff to my 2017 ram over the last year and loving more every time I drive it
I have had the truck over a year and still just enjoy driving it
When I went to buy the truck I knew from previous trucks exactly what I wanted and the search was on
I wanted a white crew cab 4x4 long bed hemi
Once I got it I started simple
Had a magnaflow install and resonator delete
Then found the wheels I liked the most
Tint the windows
Bed liner
Then the hood
With every upgrade I liked the truck even more
Last month we had s deck over gooseneck trailer and took our four wheelers and new side by side to Missouri
Well on the way home with the wind etc me and the wife decided to upgrade to a enclosed trailer
So we had a couple extra atv we sold and ended up buying a brand new 24x8.5 V nose trailer
Before we put anything in the trailer I went and got an epoxy floor coating to protect the floor
But the trailer was difficult to see around and heavy so
Friday I took it over and had a brake controller installed
Saturday morning my new DNA tow mirrors showed up so I got them installed they fit and worked great
So Saturday evening we had nothing going on so I went out hooked up to the trailer
Checked all the lights and we took off
Through town I am adjusting the brake control where it feels good
We turn to head out of town cause I wanted to see how everything functions at speed
We get about 3-4 miles out of town I am easing up to close to 65 when a fella decides he is going to pass me and 3-4 other cars in a 2 lane highway
So he comes out from the back of the line in his Buick and punches it
Then the guy right behind me jumps out in front of him then notices this other guy coming so moves over into the oncoming traffic emergency lane
Then there were 3 of us
Me being the only one where I should be lol
The we see headlights coming
The guy in the Buick panics I guess
And swerved into my trailer
Jack knifed me going 60 mph
Was slowing down a little to let them go on by lol
Once I was sideways he slams into the side of my truck
pushed me into a 180 with my trailer Jack knifed across the highway
Luckily nobody was hurt
And all the other cars on the highway seen this unfolding and got stopped and turned on their hazards so others could see us
The good news is
Nobody was hurt
The guy had great insurance
my truck isn't totaled
My trailer is totaled lol
But his insurance has already got my truck into the body shop I love dealing with
So now I just wait
The guy was late for work and got excited in the moment
I have no ill feeling towards him
He wasn't drinking or texting
Just late for work
Anyhow sorry for the long story week post pics of truck since I had it and now lol

they worked great functioned flawlessly for the 4-5 hours I had them lol
I think for $200 they seemed very well built and fit great

Glad nobody got hurt! I know that ****** feeling you got running through your system this weekend. I bought a little Audi last Wednesday and it got totaled on Thursday. I would have been twice as bummed if it was my truck. I think my coping mechanism from not being entirely pissed is being grateful nobody got hurt or died. The rest is just a temporary inconvenience.

Yep, everyone was ok. Guy in the Honda Fit had a couple scrapes on is arm. He could have drove his car away if the air bag didn't deploy, had a dent in his bumper.. The Audi on the other hand needs an entire new front end, I think the tranny got toasted, looked like the frame was slightly bent, motor and entire front axle setup was shifted about an inch or two out of place. Can't believe a little Honda Fit destroyed the Audi like that.

Yea it was hard to get good pics
But it bent the sub frame and some of the cage which insurance calls a total loss
I'm glad to because the trailer was only 3 weeks old and if it had to be repaired they wound void the 5 year warranty
Now I just get another new trailer with the warranty lol
