Used zones worth it??????

I have a chance to buy a set of zones for $135.00 but they need a drivers side ball joint rebuild. $28.00 on there sight. I would probably do both to be safe as they are out . Anyway truck is at 2.1 and I want to go 2.8 so I am thinking for the cash the upgrade to 2.8 and these zones would be a piece of mind.Just looking for some input.thanks

you doing anything to lift the rear up? i'm debating on going 2.8 as well, but need to figure out about lifting the rear.

I am at 2.1 now with 1" coil spacer in rear so I am thinking 1.5 in rear if I go 2.8

That’s an awesome deal, I put mevotechs on mine when I did 2.8 with 1” in the rear. I saw a set of zones on cL this week with a bad ball joint for $75 they were in Prince George County Va thought about them but I have no issues with mine after almost 6k miles.

yay bro those are the ones I bought. 105.00 shipped to the house and 80.00 for 2 new ball joints. So roughly $200.00 for a set of zones. Ii am using them to go from 2.1 to 2.8. and also changing my rear spacer from 1" to 1.5". just getting my parts together for the spring upgrade.

Any ideas on what rear spacers to use as far as quality? they need to have the hole in the middle as I also bought the air bag set up for a little added strengh when something is in the bed.

I went with spacers from Top Gun Customz, they go on the top of the spring and wouldn’t impact the bags you plan to put in.
