I was wondering does anyone know if I can use my stock fog light power to turn on a relay from the battery to power HIDs for my fog lights there's no warning light when I unplug my fog light from the bulb anyone have any experience with this? I'd like to retain use of my Factory fog light switch rather than putting another switch if possible

I use my OEM switch to trigger a relay. That will always work

Did you directly plug it into the harness or did you use a capacitor?

I have diode dynamics HID and have zero problem with factory harness direct to new HID fog lights.

For the low beam I erred on caution ran the relay harness direct from battery and got the anti flicker module as well.

Zero problems.
