so last weekend I picked up a 2017 Ram 1500. Traded in a 2016... long story short the upgraded needed to be done for family and work reasons...

Then I go to my local aftermarket shop where I have spent more money then I’d like to admit looking for side steps.

Well. I walked out with a 4 inch lift. 20x10 motometal rims and 35x12.50x20 tires..

Totalling much much more then I’d like to admit..

Worse of all ?

I forgot the sidesteps....

Now that's some funny ****! Hopefully the Mrs hadn't seen it yet and you can tell her it came from ram this way and you had to order the steps!

As for the lift.

I told him I wanted pro comp or BDS. Now keep in mind I’m looking for entry level kits as it is a pavement princess for work..

He asked me why not rough country and save some money.

I replied with I’ve heard they’re cheap garage... he said why ?

I really didn’t have an answer.

He ordered the pro comp kit and the rough country for me. He said if I see a serious difference between the two entry level kits he will buy me a beer.

And if I end up with the rough country I owe him a beer, apparently there’s be a bad name for rough country lifts going around even though all entry level kits are identical.

I should make a sub threat on this.
