I guess if have the front money to pay cash for the first vehicle, then it would be OK to just trade it in every year and have the usual $500/month payment until you get tired of payments and then just stick with the truck you have at that time.

Kind of a cool way to enjoy a new car every year. But you have to have that $30K up front.

So I finally found a truck!! It's not a sport, but it's still pretty nice. It's a 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie 2w/d CrewCab.. White with the canyon brown and Beige interior.. It's almost all the same options as the sport.. MSRP is 46,495, I got it for 35,500 plus TTL.. I thought that was pretty good.. What do y'all think.

Not sure where most of you are getting all these good deals, but it seems that none of the ones I have been trying to deal with don't want to budge on there prices.. I was looking at this truck New 2016 Ram 1500 Laramie - Near Austin TX - Nyle Maxwell and the prices listed is all they want to discount it, oh and they are low low balling me on my trade.!

It took me a long while to find a dealer who had what I thought was a good deal, I responded to an add in a news paper from a nearby city. Still took a few trips. Most local dealers would not match the Ram web pricing never mind offer anything better. Had the same issue with every Ford dealer in town last year. Ended up buying from a dealer 4 hours away, the third we have bought there.

If you're in the market for a 2015 1500 Laramie/Sport then you should at least 8-12K off MSRP. FCA is trying really hard to clear 2015 inventory. Well, almost every truck maker is too.

Picked up my Ram this weekend, '15 Ram Double Cab Sport Hemi, Full boat or options (except sun roof): Sport Hood, Line-X Bed, Air Ride, Leather, Heated/Vented Seat, Full Multi-Media Alpine Upgrade, the works. Sticker was $52k, I got it for $40k which I think for my area was a pretty good deal.

Got my 1500 RAM Sport for $12k off MSRP. At the same time I saw a dealer up north asking for $8k over MSRP for the same vehicle with upgraded tires and wheels.

Is it 4x4? Sounds like you got about $7k off sticker and they stretched the deal by giving you a very commendable trade value! (Always stinks when a dealer tries to devalue your ride) sounds like a pretty good deal to me! And you are happy with the truck so it sounds like a great deal!

I just bought my 2015 last Friday. Sticker was $47,890. I traded in a 2005 F150 . With dealer add ons $859, I wound up financing $26,322, with no down payment. That did not include taxes, title, etc. On paper they gave me $7,250 for my old Ford.

As USAA member I got a certificate for $1,000, which is available to any USAA member. They gave me a rate of 3.91, and the dealer beat it at 3.8, so $399.00 @ month.

The finance guy mentioned that he had not seen a payment under $600.00 in several weeks. I said I am fretting at $399, and at $400 I would have passed on the truck....haha

I am reasonably happy over all. The dealer called today still trying to get me to but a warranty...price came down since I bought the truck, so I might buy it....any suggestions here?

I bought my 15 a couple weeks ago, CC Bighorn 4x4 with the 6'4" bed all the options except heated seats and heated steering wheel. The msrp was a little over 47k and I got it for right at 35k before tax license and doc fees. I felt it was a good deal and I'm very happy with the truck so far!

To answer the questions asked to me... Yes mine is a 4x4 as well, and I am extremely happy, I love this truck even though I've owned it for literally two days I feel like I'm already at home in it. I also got a 0% financing deal which basically sealed it for me.

Sounds like you guys got really great deals as well. Im glad to hear that... How are you liking your trucks? I'm in NY which it seems like is a more pricey state in general, but idk.
