Just be thankful its not a ford. I just got done dicking around the o2 sensor in my dads 95 f150. I first just got a wrench and tried getting it off. Not even budging. Then vice grips. Not working. Finally decided to try to get a socket on it and that wasnt working either. So I got out my cutting wheel and cut the sensor in half. Finally got the socket on it but stripped it. So I said **** that and im done.

So now he has no sensor lol Good thing he doesnt drive it often.
Vise grips and a torch. Gotta put that man strength behind it maybe even a breaker bar lol

Gotta do a little diagnosis work on my new truck.

If anyone knows what would cause a popping sound when slowing down to a stop (typically when on the brake) every now and then. some times it's louder than others. doesn't do it on every stop but when it does if I back up and pull forward when I hit the same spot it'll pop again. makes me think it's something that moves that pops at a certain point if it lands just right.

Did you just get the gasket? Not the hughes kit?

This is the old downstream one. Pretty bad too. Took it for a drive afterwards and she purred. Aside from the tranny problem and plenum its running real good now.

Mine was a ***** to get broken free. The upstream one was a breeze compared to the down stream.

My dads 95 one is still not off though :roflsquared:

same here, upstream took about a half a grunt... downstream took a bench vice and every grunt i had lol
