Well with the deals I've found on engine parts that have led to my future plans, it's almost a requirement. Pulled from my savings on this one and I'm lucky that i can use 5-800 from my tax return and use the rest to pay off this.

At 500 i could buy the rest of the main parts needed to bolt on my huffer. Thinking of going with the 800 and buying the sct tuning software and playing with that. Idk

Are you going to freshen up the engine for all dat boost?

Cap rotor and wires are new, coil is new, new plugs this weekend. Other than that just oil changes. Need to rebuild the huffer though cuz the seals are bad. Gonna route my catch can and stuff into the inlet of it instead of the manifold too.

Do they offer a MLS head gasket for our engines? If so, I'd do that along with some ARP head studs if you haven't already done so. How much boost do you plan to run? Wastegate size? Intercooler placement? Fuel set up?

BOV is 10psi do definitely not more than that. I'm happy with 6-9. Non-intercooled for awhile but going to run a summit 320lph with cobra #39 injectors. I'll worry about head gaskets and studs when they blow or when I'm ready to swap EQs in whichever comes first.

What about wastegate? I didn't see what turbo you're running so idk if it's internally wastegated or what

I think it was time to get this little guy replaced lol

Took it for a drive afterwards and it was a lot smoother. Didnt backfire or hesitate or anything. It was kinda hard to tell with my tranny acting up the way it is but I could tell enough that it made a difference. Probably going to get the downstream one later tonight cause I imagine that that one isnt any better than the up stream one was.

Just be thankful its not a ford. I just got done dicking around the o2 sensor in my dads 95 f150. I first just got a wrench and tried getting it off. Not even budging. Then vice grips. Not working. Finally decided to try to get a socket on it and that wasnt working either. So I got out my cutting wheel and cut the sensor in half. Finally got the socket on it but stripped it. So I said **** that and im done.

So now he has no sensor lol Good thing he doesnt drive it often.
