I got a 96 1500 extra cab a month ago and the fuel gauge temp gauge come on from time to time, but usually don't work and now my speedo is starting to give me the wrong speed when I'm driving under 50. Any ideas

speed sensor / abs sensor in the differential or the one on driver side of transmission, both are fairly cheap I replaced both.

Also I redid the headliner in the flatbed since it was sagging and changed the oil in like 10 minutes at 10pm lol.

Tried to do a comp test today. Tester leaks like a sieve though. Built up to about 80psi max but was damn near 0 by the time it cranked again and this truck cranks pretty quick lol. I could blow through the tester more easily than a breathalyzer lol. Called it good and tossed the tester lol. If it can leak that much and still build 60-80, comp must be good right? If the tester worked I'd prob need a new motor

so trans temp, oil pressure and oil temp? do i really need oil temp or is there something else i should get instead?

do i need a test port extender for the trans temp?
You'll need the extension if you go with the test port. I went to autozone and got a couple fittings and made one.

so long time no post. i learned that code 37 for obd-1 is for the shift solenoid. in the video i get codes and i need yall's help to count and see something i couldn't. the codes i got were 13,37, and 55. i know in the video i say 33 but code 337 or code 3 doesn't exist. also i did the turn key test again and there was a 1 in front of the 3. 55 is the end, if memory serves correctly a certain someone (jbmobbs) deserves the saying "you told me so but i didn't listen" from me. So to cut the bs my work sells the shift solenoid for $52 and my paycheck is this thursday. now for code 13 description is for map sensor.
