Fairly sure only infinity trucks came with the tweeters lol. But I don't think the tweeters are powered by the amps. Just the front door speakers are

According to the wiring diagrams, the front amps power both the door speakers and the tweeters. I cant be sure because my tweeters don't work, but the wire colors match up.

I can shed some light on the infinity thing. My tweeters were wired into the amp. Black cody has an 00 so later model years could have the tweeters wired up independent. Well went to pick n pull today and I found an infinity 2nd gen. 98 quad cab. Only thing was the truck didn't have the front doors. I guess i can bypass that amp. Cause the passenger side 6x9 and tweeter don't work

Unless the guy who owned it tied them into the front speakers. But I'm using will's pic as a reference. My 6x9s looked like that ad70648cd3db29ef430b12b7d83261a5.jpg

Also, FWIW, I have no I head where my tweeters are wired to, I would imagine stock. Tweeters DO work. Cody is right tho, only the front speakers should be wired into Amps as they are the only ones WITH amps lol

Last night i hooked up to a pulling sled for the first time. Honestly one of the most nerve racking, aggravating, and absolute funnest things I've ever done. I was nervous as all hell because i had no experienceand didn't want to break anything, aggravating because i could've done a decent amount better i think, and just plain fun.

Out of 6 trucks i got 3rd at 191.84ft getting beaten by a 90s 5.7 Chevy at 195.something and a 77-79ish Ford with a blown 351 who got first set 210.something BUT was technically supposed to be in a different class. I was pretty pissed because i never got above 3000rpm in 1st gear 4-low. It pulled the sled fine but just couldn't build quick enough. Factory engine I'd have done awesome but with M1 instead of kegger and the size of tb i have i don't make **** for power below 3000. By the time it bogged i was just about to start my powerband. Talked to the guy with the Chevy and he broke 4500rpm lol. I did have awesome traction though.

So now that I've bored you with a book, here's the video i was able to get.

Well bud I'm suggesting that later model year rams have independent wired tweeters while the earlier models like mine have them wired in. I pulled my A pillars of and followed the wiring into the door and they go to the amp. But i'm only going on color code which is green and black. But to really prove that I would have to take my 12v meter and check. There have been people also suggesting this. I'm thinking 98.5-01 infinity systems are independent wired and 95?-98 are wired into the amp. I think the the pre 98.5 mark and I can shine some light on this. While william and black cody can share information on the post 98 systems.

Stripes are off! And the rear window decal. Starting to look like my truck now!
