Finally got around to getting my X case fill plug out. Been stripped since I got the truck. Turns out.. my trans case was completely empty! Bone dry. Oh well it's lasted me this long.. filled it up and put new plugs in it. 1e5c2871fab01d84d8f538f128539335.jpg
I've been steadily working on it for a while ever since I finished with my dad's.

Just need to finish the front end plus a couple of small things 660be0cefff902a09bc7360262a60a95.jpg
I'm delaying getting my wheels to fit the 38"s and making my fan shroud since there's a drift event coming up and my buddy wants me to tow his car there. Should be a fun night.

Got the high flow cat, 20" of stainless pipe and the 18" maggy welded up today after work.

Also using the TQ Pro app and a Bluetooth obd2 dongle I figured out that at 23.5% throttle the truck switches from closed to open loop. Above 23.5% where the truck sits at most speed limits i average like 7-8mpg.

If i can maintain 20-23.1 i get 16mpg

You can have my old one. But the bearings on cylinders 4,5,6,7,8 are destroyed, also, so is the cam. But Cyl 3 feels pretty good :roflsquared:

Do it.

Changed the oil in the red ***** a little while ago.
Went With Valvoline MaxLife 10W40 and my Wix 51515XP filter. Couldn't do Rotella T6 this time as I didn't have the scratch, so we're trying this.
Engine is happy again. lol

Finally, some decent temperatures today! While completely embarrassing myself trying to hit some (admittedly tiny) targets with the folk's .22 rifle, I took some time to clean out the interior which literally had a bag's worth of garbage laying around. While clearing stuff out, I found a forgotten small can of Pepsi which literally blew it's top and blew sugar water all over the ****ing place. I'm totally going to have to shampoo the carpet this Spring. Anyone know good stuff to use?

While cleaning, I found an SCT badge which came with my tuner from last year. I decided that I really needed to stick it somewhere and after thinking about it, I decided to tack it right on the grille...

Okay okay, so maybe it's cheesy as hell, but it does blend in with the chromey grille very well, such that you can't even notice it from a distance and can only really see it up close. Hey, just don't call it "rice." My truck actually has what is represented, LOL.

I also found a green Scothbrite scouring pad and used it to clean the inside of my tailpipe as the sucker was starting to get a lil' rusty. Looks much better now, but I really should file off the interior edge. Son of a ***** will slice your fingers like nothing if you're not wary.

finally got around to replacing my radiator cap, once it reaches temp and you shut it off, it burped from the cap, not the overflow. i also pulled the drivers side door panel back off to fix my intermittent speaker issue.
