EBay cover.I've actually use Barkeep's Best friend, a bucket of water and two rags to surprisingly good results. The Mountaineer's headlights were yellowed to hell and I used this setup. If the one wasn't cracked and had a bunch of condensation on the inside you'd swear that they were new.
What did you order for a cover? Man, I need to get one something awful. Driving around, my temp gauge just barely cracks the first tick mark and my heat has suffered major as a result. Hell, it gets so cold my overdrive refuses to engage so I've spent most of the week driving the highway with overdrive off. Even crusing 2,500 RPM does nothing to warm things up.
I suspect that the higher crusing RPM finished off my already-screwed muffler. Leaving work, I started the engine and it sounded like a tractor. Got home, looked underneath and tada! Muffler/tailpipe is no longer connected to the intermediate pipe. Have to admit, it sounds kinda beastly north of 2,500 RPM but I don't think the local coppers are going to like it as much, LOL.
Try turning max ac on with full heat after windshield is defrosted and stuff. Recirculates cab air through the heater core. You may be saying "so what?" Well that air is warmer and then send it back through again... and again.... and again. Trucks sweating me out of it now
Straigjt pipe was only ever any good on mine with headers. They seemed to eliminate a lot of the crackle that it otherwise had
