Changed it back into more of a daily driver. Removed the camper tie downs, removed the front spare tire carrier, relocated the license plates back to the bumpers, put on my winter tires and mostly deflated the airbags. Also reattached the emergency brake cable inside the driver's side rear hub, the thing keeps coming loose and rattles like crazy.

Had my wiper motor replaced that sounded like a cement mixer with less than a thousand k on the truck. The dealer also did the rear axle recall(R59) on it as well.Didn't even know mine was affected by the recall or that they were even doing it until I went to pick it up.:favorites13:

Washed it some MORE, to get more of LAST Saturday's mud out of the nooks & crannies. Replaced the 3/8" spring retainer clip bolt, that we cannibalized for an eyebolt.

Gonna replace the starter relay switch this week - see if that has any bearing on my starting issues, before I replace the ECU.

did you ever check to see which side of the relay signal is causing it to chatter? it would greatly simplify where you have to look. both those relays are sent the exact same signals so you can test on 1 while the other one is chattering. it would make it easier than throwing money at stuff that there is nothing wrong with.

you could also try using a test light in its place. which ever side is dimmer would most likely be your issue. i would still recommend doing this before throwing parts at it. if anything throw money at a new multi meter

Put a dual in dual out flowmaster super 50 with 4" dual tips dumped in front of the passenger rear tire. It's semi quiet with great tone. Simply amazing. Pics later.

Finally put in my Husky Liners should have went with the black instead of the grey but I still love them. They're going to help out so much with keeping my German Shepherds hair out of my carpet

Throttle body $309
Replacement of the broken pigtail connector $84
Install fee of new connector $65
I thought I had tow coverage so I got a "free" tow and turns out I didn't So another $85 dollars

All and all
$543 and not having my truck all weekend because the tow truck was 5 hours late Friday so it missed the work day and they weren't open Saturday or Sunday either.
So a long "quick 5 minute install"

Anyone have some spare good luck lol

i replaced the IAC on the 93. so far i running smoother but the real test will be when it is cold out. also unplugged the a/c pump. it has been annoying me more and more lately cycling on and off when i really don't see it doing anything especially since i think my a/c system has possibly leaked out nearly everything that was in the system. definitely didn't work this summer like it has in the past.

Drove it to work because my '06 wouldn't start (dead battery). Hopped into the '85, started her up and made it to work on time. Viva la first gens!
