cleaned the truck and put a paint sealant on it with pretty impressive results!

Found out one of my air-box closure clips (the one's on the lower half of the air box) was falling out because the thin plastic was not up to the job. Made a fix that I'll likely use for the other 4 clips. Cut a stainless steel 15ga bicycle spoke to a few thousandths bigger, heat with a lighter, force it down (the heat's so it bonds w the plastic and allows a forced-fit), and super glue or epoxy in. Voila, DONE.

Feel free to share it. Not factory approved but if they did this it actually would stop the issue.

I recently got a weight on my truck the other day at the dumps. Didn't know it weighed that much!

I have a 2014 SLT Crew Cab 2500 with the 5.7 hemi and I had to get a certified weight slip to register it. With less than a tank of gas and no one in the truck it weighed 6660 pounds. I wonder why there is any difference between our Rams at all. Especially such a big difference.

Thanks! I've got a new grille to color match and I'm going to paint the bumpers at the same time. After that I'll have all the big stuff out of the way and be on to audio and small tweaks here and there.
