Hey Texas guys.... I will be in Dallas all week and weekend next week starting on the 10th. Where are the good spots for BBQ and Italian food! While there, I will be renting a RAM as my vehicle...wonder if it will be an 18 or 19.... Any other "must see" spots while in town?

We like to eat here in Dallas-Fort Worth, so you've got a ton of places to choose from...Big Al's Smokehouse near Love Field is good (and you might see some Southwest Airlines execs there, too, if you're a fan of LUV). I can vouch for the place.

Excellent Italian is available here, too, so try Campisi's Egyptian. It's also a Dallas landmark and where Jack Ruby ate before he offed John Kennedy's assassin.

Speaking of, you should probably head down to the "spot," just promise me you won't lay in the middle of the street like so many idiot visitors to Big D do for a photo! The Sixth Floor Museum is an appropriate place to visit, too, if you're really into JFK.

Other Ram guys in the area will probably chime in shortly; this is from the top of my head and a quick Google search. Oh, and be thankful we're headed for some cooler weather now! Finally, enjoy your trip...the Lone State State rocks.

Oh **** sorry. I’m checking on a new Cherokee Trailhawk now. The family is in the process of growing so we’ve kinda out grown my Ram.

Got my second headlight in and put them in.

Didnt fully read the ebay listing, which meant my left haight has some switchback led's out. That's really not that big of a deal to me though.

Next weekend I'll install my hid kit.

My wife really like the Cherokee Trailhawk and wants to check it out. Let me know how you like it if you bug one.

Got the oil changed, tires rotated and 2 of the 3 outstanding recalls taken care of. Service advisor initially said the Autopark recall would take 4hrs by itself. When I mentioned that some people say it is quick and say it is long he said all of them he has seen were 4hrs. He came to me just over 2hrs later and said it was ready to go.

Was told the recall would also address the "bump" when coming to a complete stop or immediately letting off the brake. The drive home seems to proven that out. Glad to have gotten rid of that!

Will report back in a couple of tanks if it seems to improved fuel accuracy after a few tanks.

Working on a colormatch grill. Picked up a good shape used white one. Painted the white one. Scuffed, adhesion promoter, primer, base, and clear. The base and clear from automotivetouchup.com. I think its pretty darn close match. Will let it dry overnight and install tomorrow.
