Lol I did the same thing. Brought my old 3rd gen in for service, needed a new TIPM, and a bunch of other things so I traded it in on a certified pre owned 4th gen.

long story on that oil change, I bought it at walmart with other things and left the oil in the bottom of cart and drove away. Went back 2 hours latter and it was at customer service someone turned it in. I think you do stupid stuff when you get older

Installed Spyder tail lights and changed oil and oil, air, and cabin filters last week and installed a 7" EVIC last night. Setting the mileage and hours with AlfaOBD worked like a charm, except the miles were 0.6 miles off. Not a big deal, but I documented it.

Dropped off my new front bumper to get painted to match my truck.

Then I installed my AlphaRex D2S retrofit with 4 D2S projectors, RGB demon eyes + Upper & Lower RGB DRLS (both on a switch) and Switchback Sequential DRL’s for everyday driving and finished off with custom paint.








I also wired up the Rebel Style grille lights, aswell as installed the R A M letters I couldn’t install yesterday cause it started raining and I was working outside.











It’s kind of hard to see the DRL’s in the photos.


I have a video of the sequential strips going, I need to upload the video to YouTube so I can share it on here.

I do retrofits all the time for customers, I actually just stopped because there’s so many scumbag people in this industry and it’s just horrible. I stopped taking orders 3 weeks ago and I’m done doing builds for other people.

Yea I know lol I’ve spent just short of $5,000 on my truck in the past 45 days. It’s a looooong list of stuff. The most expensive being the 2015 heated & cooled black leather sport seats with the floor console and then the MaxTrac 4.5”/3” lift with Fox shocks lol. So, yea... I have the MaxTrac lift kit coming, with Fox Shocks!! Then I’m done with my truck until next February/March, which is when I plan to order new wheels + tires.

Oh yea, and I’m still waiting for Phoenix Automotive to ship my damn 12.1” Tesla style radio. Their customer service keeps giving me dates it’s going to ship, then it doesn’t ship, then they give me a new date and same story. Today I was promised a call back with a tracking number, never got a call. It’s been 28 days since I ordered the radio and it still hasn’t shipped and there’s been zero progress on my order at all. I am canceling my order and demanding a refund on day 30 because after that, PayPal won’t be willing to help me if I file a claim for my money back. I warn any other Ram owner who is thinking of ordering from Phoenix Automotive (Tesla style android radios) to NOT order from them. It’s the worst company I’ve ever seen or dealt with.

Yea there is 2 versions of the “rebel replica” grille out there. If you look at a real rebel, the front bumper has this “hump” in the middle right under the grille. Well the first version of the rebel replica grille released has that weird bump on the bottom of the grille and it just flat out looks horrible. Then there is the new version, without that hump, and a center location that comes with R A M letters. There is also a version where those middle R A M letters are led and light up white, or red, depending on the version you buy. My grille is the V2.0 without the ugly hump.

Here’s the hump in the center of the rebel bumper, directly under the grille .




Here is the older version of the rebel replica grille. Notice the raised section at the bottom center.


It looks like something is broken or missing from it.

And then here is the newer V2.0 of the rebel style grille, this is the one I have.

I was lucky enough that my indecisive purchasing habits landed me a cheaper price. I added this grille to my cart on eBay and it sat there for 7 days and I randomly got a offer from the seller for $191.90. Decided that was the cheapest it’s listed on eBay so I bought it. But even the original $202 + shipping is a good price.
