Drove to Ventura to pick up a 1961 Plymouth Belvedere for a friend in Australia. I'll have to do some work to it before shipping it there.
Truck pulled it just fine. The truck behind it is owned by the guy the car came from. He lives above Sacramento and brought it down to Ventura so I didn't have to go all that way. He buys and sells these kinds of cars and has probably 1000 cars in his two yards.

Got the truck back yesterday. Got hailed on today and got all new dents on my freshly repainted parts

Wow!!!!....just wow!!!!
So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.
This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
They are so prone to failure. Sounds like a good plan with RTV. Glad your sub wasn't ruined.Found a water stain at the right rear headliner right under the satellite pod after 3 days of heavy rain.
Removed the subwoofer under the seat and found 2" of standing water. Left side was dry.
Spent the day drying it out, and sealed the roof pod (and 3rd brake light for good measure) with clear RTV. Subwoofer still working fine.
First leak in over 3 years of car washes.
??Split my front shaft in half, just driving down sandy dirt back roads.
Took a much needed vacation last week. About a 5 hour drive from home up to the White Mountains for some hunting and fishing.
Didn't end up taking many pics sadly. Did a little off-roading too which is always fun!
