I tow a small enclosed trailer (v6) for moving and garbage runs + haul on top of the tonneau occasionally (reinforced tonneau for hauling) + canoe in the summer. It does great with the tow haul mode on. Weekend warrior for house projects and daily driver. Love the ram!

Well took the RV in for some warranty work yesterday and got a chance to try out the air lift air bag.At 30lbs in the bag and one less link used in the WD hitch bars she sits pretty good but this was with nothing in the bed and trailer I'm sure when I load it down I will have to max out the bags and tighten up the bars again but I'm happy with the way it sits now.

Bold adventure, what does that airstream weigh?

5870lbs about dry, 7500lbs GVWR. My weight has varied since purchase. But we travel lite. Haven't had it on the scale since purchase.

I just discovered one of my Airbag lines came unhooked. Think I'm just going to go buy the springs this week.

I only have 2100 miles on my Ram but have hauled two different things on the same trailer

The Chevy was picking up a coworker who broke down, 6800lbs truck and the 2200lbs trailer and my truck barely felt it was back there for the 400 mile trip, I averaged 10.8 miles to the gallon towing it

And the jeep was a quick tow and the truck never even knew it was there

Towing this set up daily averaging 250 to 350 kms per day
28700lbs on the factory ram gooseneck
Just 900lbs shy of the limit for this configuration truck
Bought the truck and trailer in July and have put on 25000 kms so far with no real issues
The aisin tranny is AWSOME the 6.7 is a brute that loves to work
Rest of the truck well the jury is still out on that as im a Ford guy

I didn't actually
it wasn't till ram came out with the much higher gvw that you could do it legally with a pickup truck
Most other guys are using the small frieghtliners and kenworth a to tow theirs but I didn't want my daily driver being a commercial vehicle so to speak
It actually tows the weight suprizingly well

I was wondering if you were useing a top kick or a small FL. I couldn't think of a truck that was even close to 30k before the ram jumped to it.

2015 Crossroads Rezerve... 28' box, 6400lbs dry. I will be installing airbags this year to assist with the sag seen in these pics.

I'm really not sure... There are just so many people that swear by the airbags, I can't believe they are all wrong. Seems to me like the way to go.

Now that our truck is 100% tow vehicle only, I would rather have the upgraded TTC springs. When we used it as a daily driver AND TV, the airbags were nice to keep the ride comfy during the week.

The trailer is the only reason we have the truck. 2013 32' Passport ultra light. 7,000lbs loaded with some fresh water, ready to rock.
Edit- added one more :)

Does it sag like that even with the weight distributing hitch?

^ It appears as though the WD bars are near touching the TT frame :mfr_omg:
They should always be near parallel to the frame; having them that close can cause binding when turning, and can actually BREAK (SHATTER) a WD bar due to stress.
