While just looking at my exhaust manifold, I noticed these two tubes Sticking out and near the end there is three prongs and some red adhesive stuff. Does any know what this is IMG_1215.jpegIMG_1222.jpegIMG_1218.jpeg

Truck looks like it's either had an engine replacement or transmission replacement at one point in it's life,as the bell housing bolts have definitely been wrenched on,and one of the hard lines is out of place,so probably the replacement engine had the block heater, and your truck being Seattle based might not of had the block heater,so it wouldn't have the cord for it. You can buy the cord and install it,if you want the block heater to work

It looks like fireblock, that is a fireproof caulking or sealant made by 3m. Could be something else, just saying what it looks like. Something landlords like to use on renters electrical outlets and wire holes in case they overload them.

The orange stuff is the silicon end of the cord stuck in the block heater end on the motor. Same as with 2 & 3 pics, those tubes are the block heater assembly extensions, moving the cord to a spot away from the engine block.
