Truck was misfiring. Looked under the hood and the wire on this part was chewed trough by some rodent. Will I need a new engine wire harness?

Picture is not from my truck. Driving a 2005 1500 Hemi

That looks like one of the injector plugs. Does it run ok and/or throw codes? You shouldn't have to replace the entire harness, just repair that piece of it.

Thanks lonestar. Wife said the truck was running rough and had a CEL but I haven't test drove it yet. The code was P0301. Looking at the part online, it looks like it ties into the harness somewhere. I'll tear it down and see if it's an easy fix

Please correct me if I am wrong. All I have to do is splice into the old wire with the new connector?

That should work. Just make sure its the same gauge wire which it ought to be.
