Ok so I think I have figured out what i want to do. I'm going to run lts with stock cats into magnaflow y pipe into a big aero turbine muffler I found and then have it exit before the passenger side rear tire. All i need to find now is a cool challenger style tip. Anybody know where I can find one?

Thats going to be LOUD with the setup like that...

Do you have to have the cats on for emissions in your area? Check that before you go with the LT's as a precaution. If you dont need them IMO I would go with the pacesetter Y pipe and call it a day since it all bolts together with little issues. If you have to have the cats (although I know AF thinks its a waste) it is very easy to open the stock cats up to 3" in/out and splice them into the pacesetter Y pipe. then you can have a full 3" setup from the headers on down.

The stock piping is 2.5" so going from a 3" to a 2.5" back to a 3" just doesn't make much sense to me.

As far as loss of lowend, mine is and has been fine since they were installed with no adverse affects on my lowend (although the 4.56's and 2800 stall TC might have something to do with that as well.)

In Texas you have to have cats or you won't pass inspection. Thats why i wasn't going to get the pacesetter y pipe. How could I make it a little quieter?

Will you pass if they see that you have moved them?

The exit out the side before the tire is going to be loud. probably louder than you'll expect. you can try it there first

It will pass as long as it has cats. Doesn't matter if they have been moved.

I think some small countys don't have emissions but if you live in the biggest county in Texas then you do have emissions testing. And I live in that county lol

I know it would be so sweet if I didn't have to run cats

Lol like what you got in mind? I'm going to cut the cats out to where it will be straight 3" from the headers to the muffler.

We're supposed to have a visual inspection in my county. The closest thing I've ever had was a guy look under my old truck when I pulled in running open headers lol
