what tires for 22's? semi-aggressive highway tire

I have not often been a fan of OEM tire choices, and it seems Goodyear is my least favorite. Why Ram chooses to put a tire that should be limited to Oldsmobiles on a truck is a head-scratcher to me.

I am looking for something that still has good road manners, but is able to handle wet slimy boat ramps, serious rains, and midwestern snow and ice storms.

I do NOT want terragraplers. I do not own a flat brim hat.

FYI - the stock Goodyear has a 11.4 inch cross section...but only a 9.5 inch tread width. Went through this on my 4th Gen, got the same size tire, but the tread width was 1 inch more. Made all the difference in the world.

Nitto Ridge Grappler or Toyo AT3. Ridge Grapp is more aggressive but looks better, and the Toyo is one of the best ATs around.

Goodyear must not be too bad of a tire been around a long time. And do pretty good in NHRA.

I know you said no Terra Grappler G2, but I loved mine, and dont have a flat brimmed hat either.

I put the Hankook Dynapro at2 on mine and they have treated me well, it is the new equivalent to their retired atm. Did great in the snow storm we just had out here and quiet on the highway.

They got them at a good price, since there aren't any Oldsmobiles made any longer - New Old Stock

ATM has been my go to tire for years with the 3/4 ton diesels I had. Probably had 500K plus on them...but looking for something more road friendly on this one. She's a purty girl, keeping her that way.

You look into the duragrapplers yet, people really seem to love those and they are definitely more of a highway tire.
