which borla muffler to get?

I have a 2012 ram 5.7 with super 44 flowmaster single muffler 1 in 2 out ....i would like to try something from borla on my 2015 ram 5.7 any suggestions as for which model to take and what size to look for.

A pair of Borlas on a 5.7 Hemi would sound awesome.

I have a pair of "Touring" on my 13 V6 Mustang, and they make that car sound great. Everyone raves. A lot of people that don't know better, think it's an 8.

They cost a lot, and they are a bargain!

Borlas have a distinct sound, just like a Corsa does too, it's not the deep growl that you have with the 44, just be aware of that going into this. I had a pair of 2.5" XR-1s on my '07 and I got a lot of compliments on the sound because it was so different.

I have experienced the XR-1 in person on a 14 5.7L with cats and resonators & it was an amazing sound!

XR-1 is pretty loud. The Pro-XS sound the best to me but I believe the largest ID they offer is 2.5" which is a little restrictive for a Hemi. The I/O pipes are 3" but neck down in the main body of the muffler. On a stock engine it is probably ok but I would look for a true 3" ID straight through flow muffler on a modded engine. I believe Magnaflow offers that. Resonators help keep it from cracking and popping.
