Windshield

I know glass cannot rust but is there something within the construction of a windshield that can rust? I have a small circle that is rust in color that I cannot feel any sort of blemish from the outside or the inside of the glass. The fact that it's right in my line of sight, drives me bonkers.

If its new take it in. Could be a missed imperfection.

Windshields are installed with suction cups. A lot of times you can still see the outline.
Have you tried a good cleaning?

Try clay bar, could be iron oxide? Do you park with a few hundred meters of a rail track?

I actually live about 150 yards from the tracks.

When I lived in sight of a rail track embankment I had rust spots all over my paint. At 1st I was worried until I clay barred it. You couldn't feel it on your finger but the clay took it away. Try that!

No luck with a clay bar. I'll have to swing by the dealership.
