I woke up this morning to see my wipers going ? Truck was locked and switch was off. Only way to turn them off was pull the fuse. I pulled the multi function switch and unplugged it and they still ran (with fuse in)
Strange ? Not sure how power is getting to wiper motor when key is off ? they would run all day ? The only thing that shuts them off is pulling the fuse

There is a cycle switch inside the wiper motor housing that what stops the wipers in the down position.
A buddy had the similar thing happen as yours, but you could make the wipers cycle if you hit the car.

So I tore the wiper motor out and popped the cover off the plastic cheap Trico motor and the thing was full of grease I assume they put in to keep corrosion from forming. The grease to me seemed excessive so I cleaned 90% of it out and used a cue tip and alcohol to clean the electrical contacts. used about 1/8 the grease to cover the areas I figured needed it and installed. After that everything is functioning perfect.

Tracking problem to the TIPM (fuse box) seeing this has been the source to many electrical problems.
