Hello

I’m interested in upgrading my sound system on my single cab. I’d like to view pictures of your audio setup.

Thanks

In for pictures. I’m planning on getting the netaudio box so I can keep my storage. I’ve never been really happy with underseat subs.

With a single cab, one option is to find an 8" midbass that will play very low and fit into the doors. That way you can get some solid lows without using up space with a sub. Obviously, if your favorite music is bass heavy, this may not be the best option.

I've read that the doors in the single cab are different than the crew cabs. How big of a system are you looking to build?

Just to be clear, when adding a sub to the non alpine system it’s OK to tap into the rear speakers for signal, correct? It’s full range back there for NON-ALPINE systems?

Heres my single 12 with a home made frankenstein ported box i built. Didnt want to get rid of the storage bin so just build on top of that. For 1st time doing anything like this box came out okay. Just need to find time to either carpet or paint it. 12in shallow alpine type r

I've got the non-Alpine system in mine, and I got the Mopar-Kicker upgrade speakers from moparonlineparts.com. They swap right out with the old speakers and the sound is night and day different. Especially the dash speakers, removes the 3.5" stock for nice tweeters that really bring out the high end sounds. The 6"x9" door speakers produce good bass for still being a factory 5.0 head unit. The only custom part to my setup is the 12" Kicker in the rear with an 850 Watt amp, and added a center dash speaker with "Alpine" dash cover, since it has the built in speaker hole.

Ok so here’s my setup. I’m running 2 JL Audio TW3 12” subs in a ported enclosure tuned to 32hrtz this is all being powered by a JL Audio 750/1 for the front stage I’m running a component set of 6.5” DB drive running active thru a JL Audio twk D8 the front stage is being powered by a HD 900/5 sorry I don’t have a picture of the amps. But they are installed under the seats also running a audio control epicenter. All in it sounds amazing it gets really low. And the front stage sounds amazing. Still needs a bit more tuning but I’m happy. Thinking of going with a 3 way component system running active. But we’ll see. cdc7477dbe3a461375f844d357f30037.jpg
