I looked through the list and didn't see a Virginia group. Are we included within another group? I know we spoke of a spring GTG/track day. Anyone give this any more thought?
If not then lets start a list of Mid-Atlantic members.

I had posted up about a GTG and got a mixed anwser on it. Im game for one long as there isnt work keeping me *******, horses, or sand racing that day.

Kennith, there isn't many of us, so I don't see why we can't work it out to suit everyone. I'm retired so am personally flexible.

I hear ya, trying to think what tracks are your way and only one I know of off the top of my head is Natural Bridge and thats an 1/8th mile.

Virginia Motorsport Park near Petersburg is 75 miles from me and I would like to get some 1/4 mile times.

Its bout 45 mins from me and is a nice track. Im game to meet you there. Right around the 1/8th there is a lill weird spot in the track on both lanes, both my truck and the other 2 guys I was with felt it in their cars. There is also a dyno bout a mile from the track.

Tyler, I'm planning to be stateside until September. The only thing besides working on Red is I need to put a new roof on the house. My old customer hasn't mentioned any specific work for me this year, so my calendar looks good.

Let me know what you guys come up with. Im about 4 hours away from VIR, but would like to see that facility anyways. Near me is MIR, and Capitol Raceway. Will travel :anitoof:

VIR = Virginia International Raceway. This is a road course located near Danville.. I was referencing Virginia Motorsport Park near Petersburg.

The only thing I'm trying to do before the GTG is get a cam and headers installed along with a tune. I have a hand full of support mods, but they are secondary. Old red being a street truck will be running in full street trim. Meaning no, I can fit my schedule around you all's.
