is it required to have a tune to accommodate the higher stall on a TC or can you just drop it in with these trucks?

Plug & Play for most daily driver Rams

But I wouldn't do it on a 2013 if you have the new 8 speed Transmission

It has a special two stage TC system built in and programmed specifically for the ZF design.
(Twin Torsional Damper system)

I know this is old but what size stall do you guys recommend for a daily driver/street truck that may do some towing here and there?

Since ive owned the truck (over 1 yr now) ive only used it to tow my car twice and that's just because it doesn't run. Once it's running, I doubt ill be towing much of anything.

I would go with a 2800. Anything higher will make the temps run a bit warmer while towing the car. At 2800, you get the best of both worlds...performance and drivability.

yup, I was reminded of mine yesterday when some ******** in a prius decided to do an illegal U turn in front of me.......and I decided to go around him and leave him in a cloud of smoke. ;)
