Visited the service department for the first time today. Cruise control recall done, replaced drivers side headlight and added hitch reciever.

Was supposed to pay for the reciever but they told me this one was on the house. :)

WTF, I wish there were dealers like that around me. The only thing "on the house" so far has been "sorry, normal characteristic", a free brake light leak fix and a free heated mirror that actually heats.

Hanging out at my local dealer while they change my oil. I pushed it to the limits this time as far as time/mileage. I usually change it at about 6k miles, but I was pushing the 10k mile limit just due to time constraints.

Didn't really do anything to the truck, but designed something to be pulled by the truck. Got it done just in time for football season!

Do you have the hemi tick? I wouldn't worry about 10k if you don't. I run about 7k on mine right now. I am doing a 3rd oil change at 17k only because I'm adding a remote oil filter setup and I want to switch to 5w-30 for this 115 degree heat.

Side note, how is your dealer treating you? Too many threads on bad ones lately, I'd like to hear about the good ones.

As far as I know, I don't. But, I'm not 100% positive that I know what the actual hemi tick sounds like. I've never really looked into it. I usually change it around 6k, so this is a bit unusual for me.

So far, this dealer has been good for service. The family that owns it has been around for a while and have just recently opened up this dealership about 2 miles from my house. I've only used them 3 times so far. Twice with my truck, once for the wife's Durango. Will be taking hers in soon to replace a rear trans plug under warranty, and an oil change.

Don't do it! That single cab is badass! If I didn't have to step down to only having one vehicle again I would have bought a single cab 100%

Less single cabs around, yours is newer, has less miles, Nav etc... has to be worth more IMO.

But, if you do want that auto window up feature... Here's your chance haha.

I decided today to stay with my regular cab. When I was doing 106mph up Hwy 85, I was having to much fun... besides, i have never seen another regular cab like mine around. That's good and bad.......

OK guys.... opinion time because I am conflicted. I have the chance to trade my White 2018 RCSB Sport 2WD R/T with 8500 miles for a 2017 Crew Cab Sport 2WD with 29K miles on it.
I've always liked the ignition orange (but burnt orange is my favorite) I would take off my cold air intake, 5" exhaust tips, tailgate lightbar, and bedrug and put them on the crew cab. I know the bedrug wouldn't fit, but I would sell and buy the correct size. The exhaust is already done on the crew cab. I would also get black wheels for the 17. It was traded back to the original dealer (same as where I bought mine) and has had all regular maintenance done at the dealership per the carfax. The inside is clean and identical with my 18 except for the radio doesn't have XM or Nav. Ever since my son bought the 19 Rebel, I have been wanting a back seat!!

2 questions....

1. should I do it? Is it a fair trade? Just swap keys....?
2. Can I update the radio to the latest software to add Nav and the travel-link features? It's definitely an older version than what I currently have...

You chose wisely! Now don't ever consider such a trade again.
