When Matt chimes in he will confirm, but I don't think he has drone at all

Not bad at all. I'm used to alot louder. Just under load half throttle where the noise out the back comes in. It sounds good.

I have not been at cruising speeds yet, but tomorrow I will have some stretches of driving where I'm doing a constant 60. I will see then if I have any drone or annoying noise when its in mds.

hmm well maybe I should've went with the 14" then, you got a video up of yours yet?

If you haven't ordered it yet, get the 14". I just installed my 18" over my lunch break.

When I turned the truck on I almost wept. It's SOOO QUIET! Is it louder than stock? Yes, but at idle it's near impossible to hear it.

That being said, it's a sexy vixen throughout the range. It had a very nice tone, and no drone what so ever. Going up a hill it has a sweet seductive song that tempts you to turn around, and go up the hill again...

I can hear when MDS kicks in, perhaps it's just because with 3.55s and 7500' elevation, my truck is working a lot 'harder' than an equivilant truck with 3.90s at more like 1000'. It's cool, normally MDS kicks off before I even think to shift out of it.

Am I please, very much so. Would I have preferred some more volume, Yes indeed. I will likely go have all the connections welded up. The front clamp SUCKS, and the other 2, well, hell, why not?

good thing is that Matt says after it breaks in...1000 miles or so it will get louder.

It's already through customs, maybe I'll have to sell this one and go with the 14", we'll see how it sounds.

I'll see if I can find someone with a decent camera. You won't even hear it with a Droid 2 Camera.

Yes the bands suck. My front wouldnt hold at all no matter how tight I made it. It still was coming out. Bought a better clamp I will post a picture of it. The back 2 are holding good but leak and I can hear it when I do first start of the day or after a long sitting time when theres condensation inside from the exhaust. I can hear the bubbling of the water coming out of where the leak is. I don't want mine welded either if I go back to stock of something louder LOL

It's going to take me FOREVER to get up to 2700 miles!

drive it dammit. I got over 12k since January this year lol

Picture of the replacement front clamp. It seals alot better and does not move at all.

Great clamp LB where did you pick that up?

Ive had my 18 on for a while now. The sound under acceleration is great however, idle is barely noticeable. When the MDS kicks in it sounds a bit quirky at times and if you just give it a little gas where you accelerate but not enough for the MDS to kick off it sounds terrible. I am learning to work around this situation.

Overall great product but if I was doing it over again I would go with the 14.
