Yours didn't come off easy? If its the connections giving you grief, get you a can of PB Blaster, and spray a little bit at the top of the pipe. No need to waste half a can on the damned thing, it'll only soak in so much. Then tap, yes TAP the joint with a hammer a few times, the vibration will help the oil penetrate better. Then just wiggle the hell out of it, all while pulling towards the back of the truck (Durh!)

I took the pipes out of the muffler first. I highly advise this.

I am Very anxious now to get my exhaust in. Come on UPS! lol

Parts weren't in when I stopped by at lunch. Doesn't show they have been delivered yet online. I want I want I want! *stomping feet like child*

Good things come to those who wait, the same thing comes quicker to those who pay more.

It did come in. I had already committed to helping a buddy install a ceiling fan. After 2 hours we finally got the additional wire from the wall box to the ceiling box. ARGH! (I should note, that the day prior, we did the same thing in the other bedroom, took longer to unpack the ceiling fan than to pull the wire)

So, the exhaust is resting peacefully in my garage right next to my AVS in channel vent visors.

There is hardly any drone without a muffler, with just the pipe ending under the bed (not turned down, nothing). Only the MDS causes a HORRID noise. I just kick it down to "5" and that goes away.

on 06-08's i know when it went into mds with aftermarket exhaust it was real noticeable and many people opted to turn mds off. Honestly on my truck with the 14" mufflex kit, when it goes into mds it just gets quieter, no displeasing sound that i can tell
