I paid $278 shipped, but I had to ship it across the darned country! I've not messed with the front clamp yet. Think I'm going to just have it welded.

Hmmm mine has been on for two weeks now I think

well since it kept moving and I couldnt get the original clamp to tighten enough I was on the hunt to get something to work and I didnt want it welded.

I finally got mine installed, it sounds great but even the 18" is on the soft side If I was to do it again I would get the 14" I replaced the front clamp with a Walker Mega clamp and it has no leaks up front but even with extra slits cut into the back end I still have a leak on the passenger side. It is leaking out of the cutouts Mufflex puts in them. I am going to try and squirt some High temp RTV into where its leaking and hopefully that stops the problem. I will get a video up soon as I can

Nice........is there any reason to worry about exhaust getting out at the back clamps

The only thing I can think of is you can slightly hear it, i'm pretty picky so if the RTV doesn't fix it I guess I have to get it welded in

I can hear it too. Its annoying. its out of the back ones. I mostly hear it when the truck is cold and it spits out condensation. So pretty much I hear it every morning. It bugs me but I deal with it. Mufflex's setup for the muffler was good but the clamping setup just plain suuucks.

The High Temp RTV fixed the leaks, just squirt it into the cut-outs with everything clamped together. I did it when it was still slightly hot to the touch to ensure any moisture was evaporated and then let sit overnight before starting it back up. Just make sure you get it right in there to fill the gaps

Finally got around to putting a decent 3" 304SS bandclamp on the front today. Muffler was 100% loose at that front joint. I guess I should write Mufflex.
